Applications Get Real Feedback

How It Works ?

Simple, automated and built for you.

1

Share what matters to you

Your skills, your schedule, the work you actually want. Every question here exists to get you matched — nothing else.

2

Get matched to real roles

See why a role made your list — responsibilities, schedule, and pay upfront. A strong lead, never a guarantee.

3

Interview on your schedule

Know what to expect before you start: how long it takes, whether it's recorded, who sees it. Your calendar, not a recruiter's.

4

Always know where you stand

Every application returns with a match score and specific feedback. No more sending your resume into silence.

THE COMPLETE JOURNEY

Exactly what happens, screen by screen

Most job boards work the same way: search, apply, wait, hear nothing. Here's every real step of what happens on RiseYou instead, from sign-up to your first Companion interview.

Step 1

Start with a complete profile

Before anything else, fill in your work experience, skills, education, and job preferences — including the roles, work locations, and shift types you're actually open to. This isn't paperwork: it's what both the matching engine and any recruiter who opens your profile see first.

An incomplete profile doesn't just look unfinished — it directly weakens your match scores against real openings.

It works the same way whether you're filling out a job application for a warehouse shift, a retail role, or a healthcare position — one profile, built once, carried into every application after it.

A complete profile is what the matching engine sees first
Step 2

Pass the AI Screening

RiseYou gates full job access behind a single AI Screening interview. It's a real conversation, not a form, and passing it does two things: it unlocks your personalized "Best Matches" list, and it earns a verified badge on your profile that signals trust to employers before they've spoken to you.

Until you've completed it, the Jobs tab stays locked with a clear prompt to start — there's no way to accidentally skip this step.

Treat it as real AI interview practice, not just a gate to pass — the same conversational format shows up again at Step 5, so what you learn here carries forward.

One screening interview unlocks every match
Step 3

Read your matches, not just the job titles

Once unlocked, your "For You" tab shows roles ranked by an actual match score, color-coded by how strong the fit is. Each card also lists specific match reasons — a skills overlap, a location fit, a compensation match — so you know why a job is there before you open it.

Not ready to decide? Save any listing to come back to later without losing your place.

Every match comes with a score and why it fits
Step 4

Apply directly from the match

Every job card gives you two paths: View Details to read the full posting first, or Apply to jump straight into applying. If a role sits outside your profile's job category, or your screening isn't complete yet, the Apply button tells you exactly what's blocking you instead of failing silently.

One click creates a real application tied to that job — not a resume attachment sent into the void.

Step 5

Complete the AI Interview

Applying isn't the finish line — it kicks off a job-specific AI Interview: a real conversation, and depending on the role, hands-on rounds like a coding exercise or a system-design walkthrough. This is separate from the one-time AI Screening you passed earlier — that unlocked job access; this one is scored against this specific role.

It produces an overall interview score and a hire recommendation that the employer reviews alongside your profile and match score — this is the round that most directly shapes what happens next in your application.

It's the same online job interview format for every role on RiseYou, from an entry-level shift to an experienced hire — no separate app to install, no interview software to figure out beforehand.

Step 6

Track it like a real pipeline

Your Applications tab shows exactly where each one stands, end to end. You'll see it there the moment you apply, and it updates as the employer moves you through their process — no guessing whether your application was even received.

Checking your job application status takes one tab, not a follow-up email you're not sure anyone will answer.

No guessing whether it was received
Step 7

If you're moving forward: the Companion interview

Strong job seekers get invited to a live Companion interview — a real-time video conversation with someone from the hiring team, not another automated round. Show up in the same way you would for any interview: camera on, quiet space, resume open in another tab.

This is the stage where the work you put into your profile and screening actually pays off — you're talking to a person who already knows you're a fit.

Everything you need. Nothing you don't.

One platform for the entire job search — matching, interviews, and tracking.

Free forever

No subscriptions, no premium tiers. Every feature, zero cost — for every job seeker.

Interview on your own time

Between shifts, after the kids are down, at 2am if that's when you're free. Your schedule decides, not a recruiter's calendar.

Know before you apply

See how well you fit first — so you're not writing a cover letter for a role that was never going to work out.

Track every application

See where each application stands in one place, from applying to your interview to the hiring team's reply.

A person makes the call

If you move forward, RiseYou Companion brings you face-to-face with the actual hiring team — AI quietly takes notes in the background, but a real person decides, always.

No app to download

Just open RiseYou in your browser — no install, no setup. Your bedroom works just as well as an office.

Your data is never sold. Companies you apply to see your AI score, and with “Open to work” on, employers searching RiseYou can find you too. Turn it off any time in Settings → Job Preferences.
